Sanatan Dharma Controversy: Udhayanidhi Stalin Should Be Removed Immediately, Says Piyush Goyal (X/ANI )
Chennai: Amid the ongoing debate over the controversial remark of Tamil Nadu’s deputy chief minister Udhayanidhi Stalin, Union commerce minister Piyush Goyal has demanded his removal. He even called Stalin's remark on Sanatan Dharma, for “dividing the people" of the state.
Commenting on Stalin's remark, Union Minister and BJP Tamil Nadu election incharge Piyush Goyal said, " We totally oppose Udhyanidhi Stalin for his anti-national comments. The High Court has passed an order against his hate speech.''
''I demand he should be removed from the government, and action should be taken against him for this hate speech and for dividing people and creating communal disharmony," said Goyal.

Meanwhile, on High Court's decision against Udhayanidhi Stalin, BJP leader Shehzad Poonawalla said, "The DMK is anti-constitutional and anti-Hindu. I fear that the DMK might even plan to bring an impeachment motion against this judge. But Rahul Gandhi has said nothing about protecting the Constitution. He pretends to be a true Hindu by wearing a sacred thread in court, but he remains silent. We hope that when Thalaiva (Rahul Gandhi) returns from abroad, he will say something about this."

It is to be noted here that Udhayanidhi in is controversial remark compared Sanatana with dengue. He had earlier said, “Only a few things can be resisted. Some have to be eliminated. In that sense, even Sanatana must be eliminated. We cannot resist mosquitoes, dengue, coronavirus. They must be eliminated. In that sense, even Sanatana must be eliminated.”
